Custom Basketball Uniforms & Team Apparel

Sublimated jerseys, reversible practice sets, shooting shirts, and full sideline kits — built in the USA since 2011 for AAU, school, and college basketball programs.

Made in the USA 3-Week Delivery No Minimum Order

Tired of basketball uniforms that fade after a few washes, crack at the numbers, or fit inconsistently across your roster? Our custom basketball uniforms are built for speed and movement—made from lightweight, moisture-wicking performance fabric with reinforced stitching to handle fast breaks, contact in the paint, and full seasons of play without losing shape or color.

At Hamco Sports Inc., every design is fully sublimated. Your team colors, logos, names, and numbers are dyed directly into the fabric, not pressed on top. The result: clean, vibrant graphics that won't peel or fade—even after months of games and washes.

From reversible game jerseys and performance shorts to hoodies and travel gear, we provide complete team apparel in youth through adult sizing, with custom sizing available. Each order is produced in the United States with flat-rate pricing and no minimums—ideal for a starting five or an entire program.

Every order includes free digital mockups with unlimited revisions, so what you approve is exactly what ships. No guesswork. No surprises. Choose your team's colors below and start building.

Explore Our Custom Basketball Uniform Collection

Game Day

Choose from round neck and V-neck jerseys, reversible jerseys, and complete uniform sets designed for comfort and peak play. Pair them with performance shorts or compression shorts for a complete setup that moves with your players through every quarter.

Sideline

Represent your team off the court with our sideline collection: full-zip hoodies, pullover hoodies, crewneck sweatshirts, satin bomber jackets, shooting jackets, windbreakers, tear-away pants, and basketball joggers. Designed for pre-game routines, travel days, and team appearances where you want a unified, polished look.

Why HAMCO Custom Basketball Uniforms Mean Quality

Basketball is the only major American team sport where the uniform sees the floor directly. Players dive for loose balls on hardwood and parquet, take contact in the lane on every drive, sweat through four eight-minute quarters under arena lights, and run a fast break two minutes after a stationary free-throw — all in the same jersey, the same shorts, on a polyurethane-coated maple floor that grips fabric and leaves marks. A baseball uniform sees grass and dirt; a basketball uniform sees hardwood, sweat, and contact. The materials, the cut, and the print process have to match those demands.

Every custom basketball uniform we ship is built to handle that reality. Our standard game jersey runs 160–180 GSM polyester interlock — light enough that a guard can finish an Eurostep without the shoulder strap binding, heavy enough that the print and the seams survive a full AAU summer (10–12 games over a weekend, three weekends a month). Our reversible jerseys are a single-layer 180 GSM construction with full sublimation on both sides — no heat-press transfers, because heat-press cracks the first time a forward takes a screen on the shoulder. And our shooting shirts and tear-away warm-up pants use 240 GSM cotton-poly fleece — heavy enough to actually keep a starter warm on the bench in a cold gym, snap-light enough to come off in two seconds when the buzzer for the second half goes.

Care Instructions for Basketball Uniforms (Hardwood-Specific)

Basketball uniforms pick up two stain types no other sport sees: black rubber sole marks from sneakers (from floor-dive contact and from shoe-to-shoulder rebounds in the paint), and white floor wax / floor cleaner residue from courts that get mopped between games. Both need pre-treatment before washing.

  • Rubber sole marks on white jerseys: Pre-treat with a degreaser-based stain remover (Shout Advanced or Dawn Powerwash) for 15 minutes before the wash. Avoid bleach — it sets sublimated dye and washes out brand-color saturation in a single cycle.
  • Floor-wax residue: Wipe the wet spot on the way back to the bench. If it dries into the fabric, soak in cool water with a small amount of mild detergent for 30 minutes before machine-washing.
  • Reversible jersey washing: Wash inside-out on the side you want to protect most (usually the dark side, where any pilling shows). Tumble dry low or hang dry. Never wring — a damp reversible holds shape better than a twisted one.
  • Tear-away snap pants: Snap them closed before washing so the snap heads don't catch on jersey mesh in the same load. Tear-aways are built for repeated 50-snap cycles per season — they outlast standard zipper warm-ups.
  • Shooting shirts & compression sleeves: Wash separately from jerseys the first three washes — the sublimated print can bleed micro-dye onto white jerseys in the same load until the dye fully cures.

Basketball Competition Level Matcher — Match the Uniform to How You Play

Not every basketball team plays the same schedule or faces the same demands. A 4th-grade Jr. NBA team practicing once a week and a 17U EYBL squad playing 40 games in a summer have very different uniform requirements, even when the jersey looks similar.

Jr. NBA & Youth Rec (Ages 5–11)

Lower wash count, slower growth phase, lighter contact. Reversible practice jerseys make sense here — same uniform for the four-team-per-Saturday rec setup, no shooting shirt needed yet. Youth XS through Youth L covers most rosters. Sublimation is overkill for a 6-game season, but our flat-rate pricing means you pay the same whether you order 8 youth reversibles or 80, so most programs upgrade.

AAU 11U–17U Travel (Nike EYBL, Adidas Gauntlet, Under Armour Association, MAYB, NJB)

Hardest use case in youth basketball. A 16U Gauntlet team will play 8–10 games in a single Las Vegas live-period weekend, then turn around and play 6 more the next weekend in Atlanta or Charlotte. Sublimated jerseys are mandatory at this level — tackle-twill numbers crack in week three. Reversibles are optional but increasingly common (cuts the jersey count from 24 to 12 per roster). Shooting shirts double as team-photo gear for college recruiting reels.

High School Freshman / JV / Varsity (NFHS)

NFHS Rule 3 Section 4 (Jersey) and Section 5 (Numbering) govern HS basketball uniforms. Numbers must be 6" minimum on the back, 4" minimum on the front, and the front and back number must match. Only single-digit numerals 0–5 are permitted in the units position for two-digit numbers (0–5 ones digit), and only single-digit numerals 0–5 in the tens position — meaning no 6, 7, 8, or 9 in the ones place. (00 and 0 cannot both be used on the same team.) HAMCO's HS layouts honor these constraints by default; we'll flag any number that won't pass referee inspection during the mockup round.

College (NCAA D-I / D-II / D-III, NAIA, NJCAA, ACHA Club)

NCAA rules permit 0–55 + 00 + 5 with no 6/7/8/9 restriction beyond what manufacturer / sponsor agreements impose. Three-color logos on chest and back are common. NCAA mandates uniform consistency across the roster — every player must wear identical specs, with the same lettering style and same chest crest placement. HAMCO's flat-rate pricing makes 15-player consistency easier on a college club's budget than the major-brand alternative.

Adult Pro-Am, Beer Leagues, & Senior 50+

Same construction quality as our college and HS lines, with looser fits available for players who don't need NCAA-compliant cuts. Many rec leagues call for reversibles as the league-issued uniform (saves the league from running home/away logistics). Single-jersey orders welcome — no minimum.

Wheelchair Basketball & Adaptive Programs

Custom-tapered jerseys with a longer torso and a slightly higher armhole to clear push-rim contact are available at no upcharge. Specify "wheelchair fit" on your order and we'll work with you on the cut.

Basketball Programs HAMCO Outfits

HAMCO outfits basketball teams across every level of organized play in the US:

  • Jr. NBA & YBOA youth leagues (NBA-affiliated youth development league + Youth Basketball of America national tournaments)
  • AAU travel circuits — Nike EYBL (Elite Youth Basketball League), Adidas Gauntlet, Under Armour Association, MAYB (Mid-America Youth Basketball), NJB (National Junior Basketball)
  • NFHS-sanctioned high school programs — varsity, JV, and freshman teams in all 50 states
  • NCAA D-I, D-II, D-III club teams + NAIA, NJCAA (JuCo), and ACHA collegiate club basketball
  • Pro-Am summer leagues — Drew League (LA), Goodman League (DC), Rucker Park (NYC), Cape Verdean Pro-Am (Boston) — high-visibility uniforms that read on smartphone-shot livestream
  • The Basketball Tournament (TBT) alumni teams and other open-bracket prize-purse leagues
  • 3x3 basketball clubs — FIBA-style sleeveless cut, single-color reversibles, custom number-on-back-only layouts

Coaches and ADs from these programs hit one common wall on the open market: the major brands require 25+ unit minimums and 12-week lead times. We've built our pricing and our production flow around the opposite — single jerseys ship at the same per-unit price as 100, and standard production is about three weeks.

Basketball Uniform Fabric & Performance Specs

Basketball doesn't tolerate fabric mistakes. Too heavy and a wing player gets gassed by the third quarter. Too light and the print shows through. Too stretchy and the number distorts on a shooter's extended arm. Our fabric matrix is built for the specific stress profile of each piece:

  • Standard game jersey: 160–180 GSM 100% polyester interlock. Air-mesh paneling at the sides for ventilation. Sublimated 4-method (sublimation base + tackle-twill optional for HS varsity Letterman numbering + embroidery for crests + screen-print for sponsor marks).
  • Reversible jersey: Single-layer 180 GSM poly knit. 1-method sublimation only — drop tackle-twill (would crack on the flip side) and drop embroidery (chafes against the wearer's chest on the inverted side). Both colors visible because the print penetrates the full fabric thickness.
  • Performance shorts: 165 GSM stretch polyester with elastic waistband + internal drawcord. Side-pocket option for HS varsity (NFHS allows side pockets that don't violate the 1" pocket-depth rule).
  • Compression shorts (under-shorts): 92/8 polyester-spandex base layer. 2-method sub + screen print. Drop tackle-twill (stretch-cracks at full extension) and drop embroidery (chafes under the main short). 8" inseam standard, 10" available.
  • Shooting shirts: 240 GSM cotton-poly fleece with a longer tail to stay tucked through the warm-up dribble drill. Often left untucked in the modern shooting-shirt tradition. 4-method decoration.
  • Tear-away warm-up pants: 280 GSM cotton-poly fleece with full-length snap closure down both outseams. The snap convention dates back to 1970s NBA — snap-off pants over basketball shoes meant a guard could be off the bench and in the game in 2 seconds at the start of the second half.
  • Compression arm sleeve: 92/8 poly-spandex stretch knit, 1-method sublimation. Worn for moisture absorption (sweat off the shooting elbow), light compression, and the modern fashion convention.

Internally we test wash-fastness to 50 cycles minimum (a typical HS season). Our sublimated jerseys retain >95% color saturation through cycle 50. Heat-press-only competitors hit visible crack at cycles 8–15.

Basketball Uniform Customization Options

Your basketball uniforms should reflect your program's identity, not a template catalog. The decisions you make in mockup affect how your team reads on the broadcast camera, the team-photo wall, and the college-recruiting reel three years from now.

  • Cut: Round neck vs V-neck: Round neck reads classic NBA. V-neck reads college and modern FIBA. Both available with the same fabric and same flat-rate price.
  • Jersey style: Standard vs reversible: Standard for game use (cleaner sponsor placement, allows tackle-twill numbering). Reversible for practice or to cut your jersey budget in half (1 reversible covers practice red/black scrimmage assignments).
  • Number compliance (NFHS Rule 3-5): 6" min back, 4" min front, no 6/7/8/9 in ones place for HS. We auto-validate every roster number we receive against the league type you specify.
  • Player name placement: Above-back-number (NBA-style), below-back-number (NCAA standard), or no nameplate (FIBA / HS-budget option).
  • Front graphic: Wordmark, monogram, or full mascot: Wordmark for HS (legible from baseline-camera distance). Monogram for college (e.g., interlocking letters like "UC" or "BC"). Full mascot for AAU and youth.
  • Sponsor patches: Most AAU travel teams carry shoe-brand sponsors (Nike EYBL, Adidas, Under Armour) — we place these on the upper-left chest at the size your circuit allows.
  • Shorts: Inseam length: 7" inseam = vintage 90s NBA short. 9" inseam = modern NBA / NCAA standard. 10" inseam = modesty length for school programs. All three at the same price.
  • Coordinated kit: Order shorts and jerseys together so they color-match in a single dye-batch run. Buying separately can mean a half-shade variation on the brand color.

Our sublimated basketball jerseys use advanced dye sublimation that bonds directly into the polyester interlock fabric, ensuring logos, player names, and numbers stay vibrant for the full life of the jersey. Authoritative guidance on jersey/numbering specs for school programs is published by NFHS (National Federation of State High School Associations); for youth development standards see USA Basketball.

What Makes HAMCO Custom Basketball Uniforms Different

At HAMCO, every custom basketball uniform is built around the specific demands of the sport — not a templated jersey-shorts catalog with the sport noun swapped. Made-in-USA production. Same-dye-batch color consistency across a 24-jersey order. NFHS-rule-aware mockups. AAU-circuit-tested fabric weights.

  • Free Mockups in 12 Hours, Unlimited Revisions: Our design team builds your uniform digitally so you can review every detail before production. Change colors, move the logo, swap the font, adjust the numbering — as many rounds as you need.
  • No Minimum Order, Tiered Volume Pricing: Need 10 reversibles for a Jr. NBA squad? Done. Need 200 game jerseys + warm-ups + shooting shirts for an AAU program with 8 teams? Same process. Volume tiers (1–24 / 25–50 / 51–100 / 101–500+) lower the per-item price as your order grows.
  • Same-Dye-Batch Color Consistency: Order your jersey and shorts together and we'll run them in one dye batch — no half-shade variation between top and bottom under arena lights. This matters more in basketball than in any other team sport because the camera frames both pieces simultaneously.
  • NFHS Rule 3-5 Compliance Check, Built In: When you specify HS as the league type, every roster number is auto-validated against the no-6/7/8/9-in-ones-place rule. Catches the mistake before referees do.
  • Made in the USA: Domestic production means shorter lead times (about three weeks), direct quality control, and no overseas shipping delays. Particularly important for AAU programs racing a Memorial Day tournament deadline.
  • Flat-Rate Pricing, No Per-Color Charges: The price you see is the price you pay. Multi-color sublimation costs the same as single-color sublimation. No setup fees, no per-color upcharges, no surprises.

Sizing, Fit & Player Comfort

Find the perfect fit for your team

A basketball uniform that doesn't fit right affects how a player cuts, jumps, and finishes at the rim. We offer two fit profiles—a traditional relaxed cut for programs that prefer the looser NBA-style drape over the shorts, and a modern athletic cut for FIBA-influenced or college-style teams that want a fitted, performance-oriented silhouette through the chest and armhole.

Sizing runs from youth XS through adult 4XL—wide enough to cover a 5'2" point guard and a 6'10" post in the same order. For tweener sizes or players who need specific adjustments (long-torso forwards, low-armhole shooters, modesty-length shorts), custom sizing is available at no additional charge. Detailed size charts are provided with every order, and our team is available to help you fit your entire rotation—from your point guard to your center.

Basketball Apparel FAQs

Everything you need to know about our custom uniforms

What's the difference between a round-neck and a V-neck basketball jersey?

Round-neck reads classic NBA-style and is most common in AAU and HS programs. V-neck reads college and modern FIBA — slightly more fitted at the collar. Both use the same 160–180 GSM polyester interlock fabric, the same sublimated decoration, and the same flat-rate pricing — pick the silhouette your program prefers.

What's the difference between standard and reversible basketball jerseys?

A standard jersey is built for game use with cleaner sponsor placement and optional tackle-twill numbering. A reversible jersey is a single-layer 180 GSM construction with full sublimation on BOTH sides — one reversible covers your home/away or scrimmage red-vs-black assignment, cutting roster jersey count from 24 to 12. Reversibles use sublimation only (heat-press would crack on the flipped side).

Do your basketball jerseys meet NFHS Rule 3 numbering requirements?

Yes. NFHS Rule 3 Section 4 requires numbers 6" minimum on the back, 4" minimum on the front, with the same number on both sides. NFHS Rule 3 Section 5 restricts two-digit numerals to 0–5 in both the ones and tens place — meaning no 6, 7, 8, or 9 in the ones position. When you specify HS-NFHS as your league, we auto-validate every roster number you submit and flag anything that won't pass referee inspection during the mockup round.

What's your minimum order quantity for custom basketball uniforms?

There's no minimum order. Order one reversible for an individual AAU player, or scale up through our volume tiers (1–24, 25–50, 51–100, 101–500+) for lower per-item pricing on full programs. Free US shipping is included on every order, regardless of size.

How long does production take, and what's the rush option for AAU live periods?

Standard production is about three weeks from final design approval, with production and shipping included. Rush production is available for AAU live periods, tournament deadlines, and the start-of-season window — contact us with your deadline and we'll confirm an expedited timeline. We provide tracking once your order ships.

Can I order matching shorts, warm-ups, and shooting shirts in the same dye batch?

Yes — and we recommend it. Order your jerseys, shorts, shooting shirts, tear-away warm-up pants, and sideline pullovers in a single coordinated order so we can run them in one dye batch. That eliminates the half-shade brand-color variation between top and bottom that's particularly visible under arena lights and on broadcast cameras.
