Custom Volleyball Uniforms & Team Apparel

Sublimated jerseys, contrast libero kits, spandex shorts, and sideline gear — built in the USA since 2011 for USAV, JVA, AAU, NFHS, and NCAA volleyball programs.

Made in the USA 3-Week Delivery No Minimum Order

Tired of volleyball uniforms that fade after a few washes, crack at the numbers, or fit inconsistently across your roster? Our custom volleyball uniforms are made from lightweight, moisture-wicking performance fabric with reinforced flatlock stitching—built to handle floor dives, overhead swings, and back-to-back tournament days without losing shape or color.

Every design is fully sublimated—your team colors, logos, and player numbers are dyed directly into the fabric, not heat-pressed or screen-printed on top. Nothing peels, cracks, or fades, no matter how many times the gear goes through the wash. Sizes run from youth XS through adult 4XL, with custom sizing options for athletes who fall between standard sizes, so every player gets a perfect fit.

We know coaches are balancing roster changes, budgets, and season deadlines. Every order is produced in a single run, keeping color, fit, and finish consistent across your full team. Before production, our team provides a free digital mockup—so what you approve is exactly what ships. Choose your colors and design below to get started before the next tournament. See the full range of sports uniforms Hamco Sports Inc. builds for 12+ sports—same quality, same process, every team.

Game-Day Jerseys & Uniform Sets

Skip uniforms that twist or sag mid-game. Our jerseys use 90% polyester and 10% spandex with reinforced stitching at stress points, so sleeves, seams, and numbers hold through 30+ washes and repeated dives. Each set is cut to match shorts and team numbers precisely, so ordering for full rosters has zero guesswork.

Training & Practice Gear

Training gear that limits motion slows performance. Short- and long-sleeve T-shirts, athletic shorts, and racerback jerseys are cut for full-range mobility and repeated washing. Poly-spandex fabrics that stretch without bunching and dry fast between drills, so athletes can focus on reps, not discomfort.

Why HAMCO Custom Volleyball Uniforms Mean Quality

Volleyball is one of the only major team sports where the uniform takes contact with the floor on almost every rally — a libero's dive, an outside hitter's emergency dig, a setter's tumble after a chase ball. That floor contact happens at full body weight, on a polyurethane-coated maple court or a vinyl-coated synthetic, with the player's torso, knee pads, and bare shoulder skin all sliding simultaneously. The jersey, the spandex shorts, and the libero's long-sleeve undershirt all have to survive that geometry — and then come out of a 3-day tournament weekend wash cycle looking the same. Volleyball fabric is engineered for stretch recovery, abrasion resistance at the shoulder-and-hip floor-contact points, and overhead-reach range, all at once. No other team sport demands the same combination.

Every HAMCO custom volleyball uniform is built around that floor-contact reality. Game jerseys run 140-160 GSM polyester-spandex stretch knit — light enough that an outside hitter can reach full extension on a kill attack without binding at the armpit, durable enough that a libero's dive doesn't blow out the side panel in the third set. Spandex shorts use a 92/8 poly-spandex blend with a non-rolling waistband — they stay put through a low-pass squat without creeping up over the knee pads. Libero jerseys are the same fabric but in a contrast color per NFHS Rule 4-2, with a slightly longer torso for tuck-and-tumble coverage during defensive rotations. Internally we test wash-fastness to 50 cycles minimum. Our sublimated kits retain >95% color saturation through cycle 50 — that's a full club season + the regional tournament + the year-end JVA showcase.

Care Instructions for Volleyball Uniforms (Floor Burns + Sweat + Knee Pads)

Volleyball uniforms pick up three stain types that no other indoor sport sees in the same proportion: floor wax / polish residue from the court between matches (especially on tournament weekends where courts are mopped between sessions), black scuff marks from sliding on rubber gym floors at older recreation venues, and the sweat-bake odor that develops when a libero's long-sleeve undershirt sits in a duffle for 6 hours after a 3-set match.

  • Floor wax residue: Wipe off the spandex short and jersey hip while still wet at the bench. If it dries, soak the affected area in lukewarm water with a few drops of dish soap for 30 minutes before machine washing. Avoid bleach — it sets sublimated dye and washes out brand-color saturation.
  • Black scuff marks (rubber-floor venues): Pre-treat with a degreaser-based stain remover (Shout Advanced or Dawn Powerwash) for 15 minutes. These marks set worse than grass stains because the rubber compound bonds to spandex specifically.
  • Libero contrast-color cross-bleed risk: Wash the libero kit SEPARATELY from the rest of the team's home/away set for the first 3 washes. The high-vis contrast (lime, magenta, orange, electric blue) can micro-bleed into white jerseys in the same load until the dye fully cures.
  • Spandex shorts: Wash inside-out on cold. Air dry or tumble dry low. High heat kills the spandex stretch recovery faster than anything else — a year of high-heat drying and shorts no longer return to original size after a wash.
  • Knee pads: Hand-wash in cold water with mild detergent. Never machine-wash (the foam compresses under agitation) and never tumble dry. Lay flat on a towel to air dry. Replace mid-season if the foam has visibly compressed — fresh knee pads protect the kid; old ones absorb impact and pass it to the joint.

Volleyball Competition Level Matcher — Match the Kit to How You Play

Not every volleyball program plays the same schedule or wears the same kit. A 12-year-old USAV club player runs a different season than an 18s ECNL-of-volleyball traveler, who runs a different schedule from an NCAA D-I middle blocker.

Youth USAV (10s through 14s)

USA Volleyball-affiliated club season. 14s, 13s, 12s, 11s, 10s — each year-band is a separate age group. Practice 2x weekly, 6-10 regional tournaments per season (Sept-May). Sizing is critical — kids grow 2-4 inches per season, so plan one size up for late-spring fit. Cap-sleeve or short-sleeve cuts dominate. JVA-sanctioned events have specific number-visibility rules we auto-validate.

Club Volleyball 15s-18s (USAV, JVA, AAU Junior Olympics)

The peak of US club volleyball — and the peak recruiting window for D-I college coaches. Year-round season Aug-July with peak tournament density Feb-May (JVA West Coast Showcase, AAU Junior Nationals, USAV Girls Junior Nationals, Triple Crown NIT). Players being recruited on Hudl/SportsRecruits video — number visibility on broadcast camera matters more here than anywhere. Libero contrast color visibility on broadcast is the #1 referee-flagged item.

High School (NFHS-sanctioned)

NFHS Rule 4-2 governs HS volleyball: front jersey number minimum 4", back number minimum 6", libero must wear distinctly contrasting color, jersey must be tucked or with a stay-tucked design. We auto-validate every roster number you submit against the league level you specify. Most HS programs run a fall girls season + spring boys season.

NCAA (D-I / D-II / D-III, NAIA, NJCAA, NCVF Club)

NCAA Rules govern jersey design — front number 4" minimum, back number 6" minimum, libero contrast color, manufacturer logo placement restricted. Three-color sublimated chest graphics common at the D-I level. We outfit varsity and club programs across all four collegiate tiers + the National Collegiate Volleyball Federation club system.

Adult USAV (USA Volleyball adult divisions, USAV Open / A / BB)

Adult amateur USAV play across regional and national championships. Same construction quality as our HS and NCAA lines, with adult cuts available for masters-level players (50+) needing a more relaxed fit. Single-jersey orders welcome — no minimum.

Beach Volleyball (AVP youth + pro, USAV Beach, NCAA Sand)

Different game from indoor — two players, sand court, no libero. Two-piece kits common (sports bra + spandex bottom for women, tank + bottom for men). 220 GSM stretch poly-spandex with sand-resistant weave. Sublimated for sponsor visibility under sun glare. NCAA Sand volleyball is a separate NCAA championship from indoor.

Volleyball Programs HAMCO Outfits

HAMCO outfits volleyball programs across every level of organized US play:

  • USA Volleyball (USAV) — the official US national governing body for indoor and beach volleyball, including youth club, adult, and Sitting Volleyball (Paralympic)
  • Junior Volleyball Association (JVA) — alternative youth club organization with major regional and national tournaments
  • AAU Volleyball — Amateur Athletic Union youth volleyball + AAU Junior Olympics (largest youth volleyball event in the US, 50,000+ participants)
  • NFHS-sanctioned high school volleyball — varsity, JV, freshman in all 50 states
  • NCAA D-I / D-II / D-III + NAIA + NJCAA varsity and club volleyball
  • NCVF (National Collegiate Volleyball Federation) — collegiate club volleyball governing body
  • Sand / Beach volleyball — USAV Beach, NCAA Sand, AVP youth circuits
  • Tournaments + showcases — JVA West Coast Showcase, AAU Junior Nationals, USAV Girls/Boys Junior Nationals, Triple Crown NIT

Club directors and head coaches at every level hit one common wall on the open market: the major brands require 25+ unit minimums and 12-week lead times — neither fits the rolling-roster reality of USAV club seasons where new commits arrive mid-season and replacement libero jerseys are needed in a week. HAMCO's flat-rate pricing and three-week production are built around that operational reality.

Volleyball Uniform Fabric & Performance Specs

Volleyball fabric is engineered for three properties simultaneously: floor-contact abrasion resistance, overhead-extension range, and stretch recovery — properties most generic athletic wear can't balance. Our fabric matrix is built per piece:

  • Game jersey (short-sleeve, long-sleeve, sleeveless, racerback, cap-sleeve, crewneck-cap): 140-160 GSM polyester-spandex stretch knit. 4-way stretch for full overhead arm extension. Reinforced flatlock seams at the shoulder + side-panel hip-contact zone. 4-method decoration (sublimation base + tackle-twill optional for HS/college nameplate + embroidered crest + screen-printed sponsor marks).
  • Libero contrast jersey: 180 GSM poly-spandex with reinforced flatlock at the shoulder-and-elbow dive-contact points. Contrast color (per NFHS Rule 4-2) locked at order stage. Often paired with a long-sleeve compression undershirt in matching contrast for hard-floor venues.
  • Volleyball Competition Shorts (2"-4" inseam): 200 GSM 4-way stretch spandex. Non-rolling 1.5" elastic waistband. Built for the modern indoor competitive cut.
  • Poly Spandex Shorts (4"-6" inseam): 180 GSM compression fit. Common HS-required modesty inseam.
  • Athletic / Training Shorts (5"-7" inseam): Looser fit for training sessions, conditioning, and lifting. 200 GSM.
  • Sideline warm-up jacket + pant: 220-240 GSM tricot for indoor venues. Sublimated to match the libero contrast color so the entire team's bench presents unified.
  • Knee pads (accessory): Standard 7" rectangular pad with 9mm closed-cell foam at the patella + lateral knee. Two-strap secure-fit construction. Available in team colors with embroidered logo.
  • Volleyball-specific socks: Crew or over-the-calf with reinforced heel for the floor pivot. Some HS leagues require uniform sock height — we'll auto-validate.

Internally we test wash-fastness to 50 cycles. Sublimated kits retain >95% color saturation through cycle 50. Heat-press-only competitors hit visible crack between cycles 8-15.

Volleyball Uniform Customization Options

Your volleyball kit reflects your club's identity AND how scouts and referees perceive your program. The decisions you make in mockup affect how your team reads on the broadcast camera at the AAU Junior Olympics, the college-recruiting Hudl reel for your senior class, and the referee's clear identification of your libero from the line judge's perspective.

  • Cut: Cap-sleeve / Short-sleeve / Long-sleeve / Sleeveless / Racerback / Crewneck Cap: Each works for specific position-and-style profiles. Modern competitive volleyball runs racerback or sleeveless for most players, cap-sleeve traditional for HS programs that require sleeve coverage.
  • Libero contrast color compliance (NFHS Rule 4-2): The libero jersey color MUST be clearly contrasting from the rest of the team's set. We auto-validate against your home + away colors during mockup.
  • Number placement (NFHS Rule 4): Front 4" minimum, back 6" minimum. Position-specific numbering (libero typically 1-9 or 0; setters often 5/6/7; middle blockers often 11-15) is convention but not rule.
  • Sponsor patches: Single chest sponsor (1-2"x3"), back banner (NCAA-style), sleeve patch. Multi-color sublimation costs the same as single-color — no per-color upcharge.
  • Crest: Embroidery vs sublimation: Embroidered crest is 3D-texture, traditional, lasts forever (+$3-5/jersey). Sublimated crest is integrated into the fabric, doesn't crack, machine-washable forever. Many clubs do embroidered home + sublimated training.
  • Player names: Above back number (NFL-style), below back number (NCAA standard), or no name (some HS budget options). Specify on order.
  • Captain "C" patch: 2"x2" on upper-left chest. Sublimated or applied via woven patch. Some leagues require it visible to refs.
  • Two-tone or panel designs: Side panels in contrast color, color-block sleeves, or front/back two-tone — all included at flat rate.

Authoritative guidance on volleyball uniform specs is published by NFHS (National Federation of State High School Associations); for club-level and adult standards see USA Volleyball.

What Makes HAMCO Custom Volleyball Uniforms Different

At HAMCO, every custom volleyball uniform is built around the specific demands of the sport — floor-contact abrasion resistance, NFHS Rule 4-2 libero contrast compliance, JVA / AAU / USAV-tested construction. Made-in-USA production. Tested at the youth USAV through NCAA D-I level.

  • Free Mockups in 12 Hours, Unlimited Revisions: Our design team builds your volleyball kit digitally so you can review every detail — libero contrast color, crest size, jersey cut per position, sponsor placement — before production. As many rounds as it takes until your club director and head coach both sign off.
  • No Minimum Order, Tiered Volume Pricing: Need 12 jerseys for a 14s USAV team? Done. Need 180 kits for a 12-team JVA club program? Same process. Volume tiers (1-24 / 25-50 / 51-100 / 101-500+) lower the per-item price as your order grows.
  • Same-Dye-Batch Color Consistency: Order your home set + libero contrast kit + spandex shorts + warm-up jacket together and we'll run all pieces in one dye batch — eliminates the half-shade variation that's visible under gym floodlights and on broadcast camera.
  • NFHS Rule 4-2 Compliance Check, Built In: Every libero jersey color is auto-validated against your home + away set colors. Every front number is checked against the 4-inch minimum, every back number against the 6-inch minimum. Catches the compliance issue before referees do at pregame check-in.
  • Made in the USA: Domestic production means shorter lead times (about three weeks), direct quality control, and no overseas shipping delays. Particularly important for late-season JVA tournament-prep cycles and pre-Junior-Olympics rosters that finalize 4 weeks out.
  • Flat-Rate Pricing, No Per-Color Charges: The price you see is the price you pay. Multi-color sublimation costs the same as single-color sublimation. No setup fees, no per-color upcharges, no surprises mid-invoice.

Sizing, Fit & Player Comfort

Find the perfect fit for your team

Most volleyball uniforms are sized for the body, not what's on it. Players wear knee pads, compression sleeves, elbow braces, ankle braces, and the libero often pulls a long-sleeve undershirt for floor-dive abrasion protection—and standard-cut jerseys and spandex shorts catch, ride, or restrict at the worst moments (mid-rally, mid-rotation, mid-set).

Our gear-adjusted sizing builds in room for protective layers without going up a size. Sleeve openings clear compression sleeves and elbow padding. Spandex shorts sit over knee pads without creeping up during squats, dives, or low passes. Liberos can layer a long-sleeve underneath without bunching at the shoulder seam. The fit at warmups is the same fit your players have in the third set going to deuce.

Sizes run from youth XS through adult 4XL — wide enough to fit a 5'2" libero and a 6'5" middle blocker in the same order. Custom sizing for setters with long arm reach, middles needing extra torso length, or athletes who fall between standard measurements is available at no upcharge.

Volleyball Uniform FAQs

Everything you need to know about our custom volleyball uniforms

Do your libero jerseys meet NFHS Rule 4 contrast-color requirements?

Yes. NFHS Rule 4-2 requires the libero's jersey to be clearly contrasting in color from the rest of the team's jerseys, with the contrast visible from a distance. We auto-validate the libero contrast color against your home + away set colors during the mockup round so referees won't flag it at pregame inspection. Front number 4" minimum, back number 6" minimum per Rule 4 as well — also auto-checked.

What's the difference between Volleyball Competition Shorts and Poly Spandex Shorts?

Competition shorts are 200 GSM 4-way stretch spandex with a non-rolling waistband (built for the modern indoor competitive volleyball cut — typically 2" or 4" inseam). Poly spandex shorts are 180 GSM with a compression fit, slightly longer inseam (4" or 6"), and are common as a training short or for HS programs that require longer modesty inseam. Both available in your team colors with sublimated graphics.

What jersey cuts work best for each position?

Outside hitters and opposites usually wear cap-sleeve or short-sleeve cuts (full arm extension on attacks). Middle blockers often prefer sleeveless or racerback (clear blocking range, less restriction on overhead reach). Liberos need long-sleeve undershirts under their contrast jersey for floor-dive abrasion protection — we can sublimate the long-sleeve in the contrast color too. Setters often choose long-sleeve for grip on close-handed sets. All cuts at the same flat-rate price.

Do you offer matching knee pads, ankle braces, and accessories?

Knee pads with your team color/logo are available in our accessories tier. Ankle braces and elbow braces are typically purchased from medical-supply vendors due to fit requirements — we don't sell those. We do offer custom socks, backpacks, cinch bags, and warm-up sets to round out the kit.

What's your minimum order quantity for custom volleyball uniforms?

There's no minimum. Order one libero contrast kit for a single player, or scale up to outfit a 12-team JVA club program (180+ players) in one coordinated order. Volume tiers (1-24 / 25-50 / 51-100 / 101-500+) lower the per-item price as your order grows. Free US shipping is included on every order.

How long does production take, and can you meet club season + tournament deadlines?

Standard production is about three weeks from final design approval, with production and shipping included. Rush production is available for early-season USAV club starts (typically October-November), the spring HS season window, and JVA West Coast Showcase / AAU Junior Olympics deadlines — contact us with your deadline and we'll confirm an expedited timeline.

Can I match my libero jersey + spandex shorts + sleeve undershirt in the same dye batch?

Yes — and we recommend it. Order your libero kit (contrast jersey + matching spandex shorts + long-sleeve undershirt + accessories) together so we can run all pieces in one dye batch. That eliminates the half-shade brand-color variation between top and bottom that's visible on broadcast video and tournament photo backdrops.

Do you support beach volleyball pairs and two-piece kits?

Yes. Two-piece beach volleyball kits (sports bra + spandex bottom for women, tank + bottom for men) are available with sand-resistant 220 GSM stretch poly-spandex. Sublimated for sponsor visibility under sun glare. AVP-style cuts available. Beach players hold up better in tightly-cut kits — the sand resistance comes from the spandex weave, not a coating.
