The zipper itself is sublimated to match your team colors so it doesn't break the visual line of the design. We don't use thin metal zippers on practice gear because they corrode in sweat and gym conditions.

These quarter-zips are layered OVER the game jersey during warmups, drills, bench time, and travel. They're not played in — long sleeves and a quarter-zip collar trap heat once players are running active possessions. Most teams wear them through warmup routines and bench rotations, then take them off when they sub in. They also work as a standalone practice top for cold-gym sessions or early-season outdoor practices when no game jersey is being worn.

The fabric is lightweight moisture-wicking polyester — designed as an active training layer, not a thermal layer. Think of it as a cold-gym warmup top: enough warmth to keep muscles loose during stretching and shooting drills, light enough to breathe through 10-15 minutes of moderate activity. Players typically zip up during warmups and pre-game routines, partially unzip for drills and shooting practice, and pull the jersey off entirely once live play starts. For genuinely cold conditions (early-season outdoor, unheated travel gyms), teams often layer a long-sleeve compression top underneath.
