Every Hamco wrestling singlet is built to the NFHS Rule 4-1-1 specification: one-piece full-length design that's cut no lower than under the arm pit on the chest and no lower than the top of the hip bone on the side, with no buttons, zippers, hooks, snaps, buckles, or any hard, abrasive, sharp, or rigid hardware that could injure either contestant. The 85/15 poly-spandex compression knit holds the singlet flat against the body so there's no loose fabric for an opponent to grip. Sublimation is the only decoration method we run on singlets specifically because it leaves zero raised finish — dye-fused team colors, school name, and athlete number live inside the fabric, not on top of it. The same construction meets NCAA Rule 4 weight-class compliance and USA Wrestling competition requirements. If your conference or state association has supplemental rules (separate-color contrast at duals, two-piece compression alternative, modesty-top requirement), let us know during the mockup phase and we'll adjust the design before production.

Wrestling singlets size by chest measurement (not body weight), so a wrestler in the 132-lb weight class and a wrestler in the 220-lb weight class can both be sized correctly even though their weight classes are very different. For NFHS dual meets, both teams need a clear dark / light visual contrast so officials can call holds, points, and stalemates cleanly — most programs handle this by ordering two singlet runs in coordinated colorways (e.g., a primary navy singlet and a contrasting white or light-gray alternate), and the team designated as "visitor" wears the light singlet on dual day.
