Custom Softball Full-Length Pants

Four bottom styles carry across our softball line.

• Full-Length Pant (this product) — elastic drawstring waistband with NO belt; pull-on convenience, nothing to thread or lose, especially handy for youth and rec rosters and for one versatile bottom that works from warm-ups through the game.
• Standard Pant — the same full-length cut and same woven shell but with a belted waistband (belt loops) for the traditional varsity game-day look.
• Standard Knicker — the knee-length cut worn with high socks or stirrups for the classic baseball-heritage aesthetic.
• Softball Shorts — the warm-weather and slowpitch bottom.

The full-length pant and standard pant are the same length and price — the only difference is the waistband: drawstring (no belt) vs belt loops. The full-length pant, standard pant, and knicker share the same ~240 GSM woven polyester shell with double-knee reinforcement; the shorts use a lighter moisture-wicking athletic knit for warm-weather play. All four share the same custom piping and decoration capability. The choice is waistband, length, and climate preference, not a difference in quality.

The elastic drawstring waistband is about convenience and versatility. There is no belt to thread through loops, no belt to lose between games, and no belt to adjust mid-game — the player pulls the pant on, snugs the drawstring, and is ready. That matters most in three situations. First, youth and rec programs: younger players (and the coaches managing their gear) benefit from one-step pull-on pants with no belt to keep track of. Second, programs that want one bottom for everything: the drawstring pant works as a warm-up pant and a game pant, so a program does not need to stock a separate warm-up bottom. Third, quick changes: at tournaments with tight turnarounds between games, pull-on pants save time. The trade-off is purely aesthetic — the belted standard pant gives the more traditional, dialed-in varsity look that some programs prefer, while the drawstring pant reads slightly more casual. Both are the same ~240 GSM woven shell, same double-knee reinforcement, same durability; the choice is whether the program values pull-on convenience or the belted traditional look.

Player names and numbers do NOT go on the pant — they sit on the jersey back panel per USA Softball Rule 3 and NCAA Rule 4-1 uniform standards. The pant carries colorway and team-identity decoration: sublimation builds the base color, pinstripes, side piping, and any sublimated panels into the woven shell; embroidery adds a small dimensional team mark on the leg or waistband; screen printing handles an opaque team logo on the leg. The most common pant decoration is simply the team colorway plus side piping that matches the jersey. Tackle twill, which carries the player names and numbers on the jersey, is not used on the pant. When you order the pant alongside a jersey, the piping and colorway are matched to the jersey in the same design mockup so the full uniform reads as one coordinated set.

Mixed sizes and mixed ankle styles (open and closed) are welcome within a single order at no extra cost — youth (YS-YXL) and adult (XS-4XL) sizes all ship together at the same per-pair tier price.
