Custom Softball Standard Pants

Three bottom styles carry across our softball line.

• Standard Pant (this product) — the full-length game-day pant, available with an open hem (loose at the ankle) or closed hem (tapered/elasticized at the ankle) so each player can match their stirrup or sock preference; the most common game-day choice across fastpitch and slowpitch.
• Standard Knicker — the knee-length cut that stops below the knee, worn with high socks or stirrups for the traditional softball/baseball look; favored by programs that want the classic stirrup-showing aesthetic.
• Softball Shorts — the warm-weather and slowpitch bottom, paired with the sleeveless or v-neck jersey for a coordinated kit.

The pant and knicker share the same ~240 GSM woven polyester shell with double-knee reinforcement; the shorts use a lighter moisture-wicking athletic knit built for warm-weather comfort rather than slide-and-dive abrasion. All three share the same custom piping and decoration capability. The choice is program aesthetic, climate, and how hard the team slides, not a difference in quality.

The knee panel takes the most punishment on a softball pant. Headfirst dives, hook slides into second and third, and the crouch-and-drive motion at the plate all concentrate abrasion and stress on the knee area. A single-layer pant wears through at the knee first — that's where you see fraying, thinning, and eventually holes before the rest of the pant shows any wear. Double-knee reinforcement adds a second layer of the ~240 GSM woven shell across the knee panel, roughly doubling the abrasion resistance exactly where the pant needs it most. On a full-season schedule with two or three games a week plus tournament weekends, that reinforcement is the difference between a pant that lasts the whole season and one that needs replacing at the midpoint. It is built into the pant construction, not an add-on, and there is no upcharge for it.

Player names and numbers do NOT go on the pant — they sit on the jersey back panel per USA Softball Rule 3 and NCAA Rule 4-1 uniform standards. The pant carries colorway and team-identity decoration: sublimation builds the base color, pinstripes, side piping, and any sublimated panels into the woven shell; embroidery adds a small dimensional team mark on the leg or waistband; screen printing handles an opaque team logo on the leg. The most common pant decoration is simply the team colorway plus side piping that matches the jersey — many programs run a solid-color pant (white, grey, or a team color) with a single contrast piping stripe down the side. Tackle twill, which carries the player names and numbers on the jersey, is not used on the pant. When you order the pant alongside a jersey, the piping and colorway are matched to the jersey in the same design mockup so the full uniform reads as one coordinated set.

Free shipping is included on every order, regardless of size. Mixed sizes and mixed hem styles (open and closed) are welcome within a single order at no extra cost — youth (YS-YXL) and adult (XS-4XL) sizes all ship together at the same per-pair tier price.

Standard production time is 2-4 weeks from the time you approve the final design mockup. This includes design creation, manufacturing, quality inspection, and shipping.
