The only difference is the neckline shape: the v-neck has a notched v-collar, the round-neck has a smooth crew neckline. Some fastpitch programs prefer the v-notch because they read it as a slightly more feminine silhouette than the crew; others prefer the crew because it gives sublimation a marginally cleaner uninterrupted canvas across the upper chest. Neither has a meaningful airflow, ventilation, or temperature advantage — the difference is small enough that programs typically pick based on team aesthetic preference, sometimes by polling the captains or the senior players. Both cuts satisfy USA Softball Rule 3.6 and NCAA Rule 4-1 uniform-consistency requirements equally.

• 2-button — henley pullover with a 2-button collar opening; the rec, entry-travel, and slowpitch default.
• Sleeveless — open armhole tank-cut for slowpitch or warm-weather rec play.
• Racerback uniform set — open-back cut paired with matching shorts as a complete uniform set, common in fastpitch for the open-shoulder range of motion.

• The V-Neck Jersey on its own (this product) is for programs that already have softball pants or knickers from a previous order, or that want to pair the v-neck jersey with a non-matching bottom — for example, plain white pants from another supplier, or our softball standard pants in a separate order.
• The V-Neck Softball Uniform Set ships the v-neck jersey AND a matching pant together in one order, dye-sublimated from the same color batch so the jersey and pant colorway match exactly across the team — no separate-order color drift, no decision step to coordinate two products.

The set is the right choice when a program is building a new uniform from scratch and wants the jersey-and-pant kit locked in one order.
