Second, durability: the zipper is the most common failure point on a hoodie (it snags, jams, or breaks mid-season); the pullover eliminates it entirely. Third, warmth: a full-zip leaves a thin gap and seam down the chest where cold gets in, while the solid pullover front retains warmth through cold-gym practices and recovery sessions. The tradeoff is on/off speed — if a wrestler needs to peel the top fast at mat side without disturbing headgear, the full-zip is the better pick; for everything else, the pullover wins on look, durability, and warmth.

It depends on the blend, and this is the question to ask before ordering custom fleece anywhere. Sublimation dye-fuses onto polyester fibers only — it doesn't bond to cotton. On a heavy-cotton 80/20 blend (the default for cheap stock blanks), sublimated graphics print weak and fade with every wash because most of the fabric isn't holding the dye.
