The Custom Softball V-Neck Uniforms set includes both a custom v-neck jersey AND matching shorts as a complete uniform package, shipped together in one order. Both pieces dye-sublimate from the same color batch on the same in-house production run — that is the key reason to order the set rather than ordering a jersey and shorts as two separate products. When jersey and shorts come from a single dye-sublimation run, the team colorway matches exactly across both pieces with no batch-to-batch color drift; when they come from two separate orders (or worse, two separate suppliers), real color variation can show up in the navy-vs-charcoal range, the red-vs-burgundy range, and so on. The set is the right choice when a program is building a new uniform from scratch and wants the kit locked in a single decision. The flat per-uniform price covers jersey + shorts + all decoration (sublimation, tackle twill names and numbers, embroidered crest if desired, screen-printed sponsor marks) with no per-name add-on charges and no separate-pants design fee.

Two uniform sets carry across our softball line, and the choice is silhouette preference, not performance. The V-Neck Uniform pairs a closed-back v-neck jersey (notched v-collar at the front, full panel at the back) with matching shorts. The Racerback Uniform pairs an open-back racerback jersey (back panel narrows toward the shoulder blades, fabric-free across the scapula) with matching shorts. Both sets ship from the same in-house dye-sublimation run on the same ~180 GSM moisture-wicking polyester knit, both use the same female-athlete cut, both carry the same 4 decoration methods, and both sit in the same price tier. V-neck is generally the more traditional fastpitch silhouette and the safer choice when a program is unsure; racerback is the open-back preference for programs that want the upper-back-fabric-free aesthetic and unobstructed back-panel sublimation visibility. Neither is the competitive default at the college/elite-travel/varsity level — at those levels, the full-button placketed jersey paired with softball standard pants or standard knickers remains the construction standard.

Yes. The V-Neck Uniform ships as a complete jersey + shorts kit, but the v-neck jersey is also sold as a standalone product, and softball shorts are sold as a standalone product. We keep your custom design on file after the initial order, so adding a single v-neck jersey for a new player, or ordering replacement shorts for one or two roster members, is straightforward. One caveat worth knowing: a standalone jersey or shorts ordered weeks or months after the initial set will dye-sublimate from a NEW batch run, and there is a small possibility of marginal color drift between the original batch and the replacement piece — that's the trade-off of replenishment orders, and it's typically not visible to anyone other than the player wearing the replacement piece. For larger replenishment orders (3+ jerseys, 3+ shorts), we can hold a color spec to minimize drift; reach out for a team-quote conversation if that applies.

Coordinated is the default, but intentionally-contrasting is supported. The standard set design matches the jersey and shorts in colorway, sublimated pattern, and trim across both pieces — same colors, same pinstripe pattern (if any), same panel-color blocking — for a cohesive coordinated kit. If a program wants an intentionally-contrasting look — for example, a navy jersey paired with charcoal shorts, or sublimated team-color shorts with a solid-color jersey — we accommodate that in the design mockup phase at no extra charge. Bring the design intent to the mockup conversation and we will work both pieces from the same in-house dye-sublimation run regardless of whether they match or contrast. Free shipping is included on every order, regardless of size. Mixed sizes are welcome within a single order at no extra cost — youth (YS-YXL) and adult (XS-4XL) sizes all ship together at the same per-uniform tier price.

Standard production time is 2-4 weeks from the time you approve the final design mockup. This includes design creation, manufacturing of both jersey and shorts, quality inspection, and shipping.
