Custom Soccer Reversible Uniforms

The reversible uniform set (this product) is jersey + shorts, both sides fully sublimated — order this when the club needs true home/away separation across the full kit and players will be flipping both top and bottom (scrimmages with mixed teams, dual-color competitions). The reversible jersey only is the same double-layer top WITHOUT matching shorts — order that when the club already has shorts that work for both home and away (single-color stadium shorts that pair with either side of the jersey). The standard soccer uniform is a single-side, game-day-only jersey + shorts with full decoration support including tackle twill numbers and embroidered crests — order that one when you don't need the flip and want raised player IDs. The warmup bib is a lightweight scrimmage-only marker that goes over an existing kit — cheapest option for training-only color separation.

Tackle twill and embroidery aren't offered on this product, and the reason is mechanical not stylistic. Tackle twill numbers are sewn through the fabric with a stitched outline edge — the stitch knots would show on the opposite face when the jersey or shorts are flipped. Embroidery has the same problem: the back of every embroidered crest has visible bobbin thread that would sit on top of the away-side design. Screen printing only deposits ink on one face. Sublimation is the only decoration method engineered for two-face reversible construction because the dye becomes part of the polyester fiber of each face individually before the two panels are bonded — so home colors live fully inside one face, away colors live fully inside the other, with zero bleed-through. For tackle twill numbers or embroidered crests, order a standard single-side soccer uniform instead.

Most clubs run home-on-home and away-on-away: home jersey side pairs with home shorts side, away jersey side pairs with away shorts side. This is the cleanest visual presentation for matches and the easiest for referees to read color separation between teams. Some clubs intentionally contrast — for example, dark jersey paired with light shorts on the home side for a striped visual identity, then flipping to the opposite contrast on the away side. Both approaches are supported; the design mockups we send back within 12 hours show all four combinations (home jersey + home shorts, home jersey + away shorts, away jersey + home shorts, away jersey + away shorts) so you can pick the configuration before production starts.

Standard production time is 2-4 weeks from the time you approve the final design mockup for BOTH sides of BOTH pieces — since reversible uniforms ship with two complete sublimated designs across jersey and shorts, we send mockups for the home and away sides on each piece together. Production then runs the double-layer assembly: each face is sublimated, the two panels are bonded back-to-back, and the seams are double-stitched on both the jersey and the shorts. Sublimation on both faces of the jersey and both faces of the shorts: home colors, club crest, player names, player numbers, sponsor marks, gradients, patterns, and full color builds — applied to each face independently before the panels are assembled. Many clubs run the same number on both sides for player consistency; others run different number schemes per side for league-vs-scrimmage clarity.
