Yes, alternate uniforms are legal in NFHS and NCAA play as long as they meet the same construction and number-contrast rules as the primary set: number height (8-inch front, 10-inch back), readable contrast between numbers and body color, and the home/away color convention (home wears dark, away wears light) for that specific game. Some conferences require pre-approval of alternate designs at the start of the season, especially throwback or non-standard color schemes — your AD/coach handles that filing.
