First, FIFA Law 4 requires the keeper to wear a color distinguishable from both teams and the match official — so the goalkeeper jersey is purpose-built around high-contrast colorways instead of matching the outfield kit. Second, the cut is long-sleeve with EVA-foam padding panels at the elbows for impact absorption during diving saves. Third, the body sits looser than an outfield jersey to allow full catching range of motion and unrestricted reach at full extension. Outfield jerseys are tighter and shorter-sleeved by comparison.

Each goalkeeper jersey ships standard with EVA-foam padding panels at the elbows — the highest-impact zone during diving saves. The padding is lightweight and flexible enough that it doesn't restrict reach or catching motion, but dense enough to absorb the contact force on grass, turf, or indoor surfaces. Shoulder padding can be added as a custom option during design if your keeper takes heavy contact on lateral dives. For full hip-and-thigh protection during dives, pair the jersey with our padded shorts.

You can absolutely order just one — there's no minimum order requirement. Many teams order a single jersey for the first keeper plus a second jersey in a contrasting color for backup keepers (so both can be on the bench at the same time without color-matching the active outfielders). Pair with matching padded shorts for the full GK kit, or with the standard uniform set if you need the outfield 11 plus a single keeper jersey on the same color file.
