Custom Ice Hockey Away Uniforms

Each Custom Ice Hockey Away Uniforms set includes two pieces: (1) a custom jersey in your contrasting away colorway on single-layer 180 GSM polyester mesh with a fight strap sewn into the back hem on request and a pad-compatible athletic cut over shoulder pads, elbow pads, and rib protection; and (2) a matching pair of open-tube hockey socks (no foot) in 160 GSM polyester mesh, sublimated in the same away team striping and colorway as the jersey. Hockey pants and breezer shells are NOT included in this set — those are sold separately on our hockey shell page — because the pant shell is typically a neutral team color and goes over the bulky breezer-pad combo, while the jersey + sock pair is the player-visible road identity. Sublimated player names, numbers, team crest and sock striping are included in the per-set price. Tackle twill lettering is $5 per customization, for example $5 for a back number and $5 for a back name.

Yes — visiting teams wear a uniform of contrasting color from the home team for officiating visibility. The traditional convention is light home (white-base jerseys with team-color trim and white-base socks with team-color stripes) and dark away (team-color base jerseys with white trim and dark-base socks with team-color stripes), so a team's away set is typically the darker, more saturated colorway across both the jersey and the matching socks. We design the away jersey + sock combination to read instantly from the bench, the back boards, and the top rows — strong base color, high-contrast nameplate, and high-contrast back number.

Yes — when home and away uniform sets are ordered together as a single purchase, all four pieces (home jersey + home sock + away jersey + away sock) are sublimated from coordinated dye batches on the same polyester base, so the team identity color-locks across the home set and the away set with no shade drift between the two looks. The home set's team-color accents (trim, sleeve stripes, sock striping) will match the away set's team-color base, and vice versa. If home and away sets are ordered separately months apart, dye lots can shift slightly between runs — for the cleanest home/away color match across all four pieces, order them together and we'll batch them on the same production day.

Free shipping is included on every US order, regardless of size. Mixed sizes and youth/adult combinations are welcome within a single order at no extra cost. The set price covers both the jersey and the matching socks, with no separate setup fees and no per-color charge on sublimated designs.

The jersey uses all four methods: sublimation for the away colorway and side panels, tackle twill for the heritage back nameplate and large back number, embroidery for the dimensional chest crest plus captain "C" and alternate "A" designations, and screen printing for optional single-color sponsor patches. The matching socks use two methods: full sublimation for the team striping and away colorway (matched to the jersey from coordinated dye batches), and optional screen printing for a sponsor or league mark on the sock cuff. Tackle twill and embroidery are not offered on the socks, so the socks are sublimation-and-screen-only. No setup fees. Sublimated designs, names and numbers are included in the per-set price; your quote shows the price for embroidery, tackle twill and screen printing.
