This is the point of the product: it's the 'just in case the weather turns' layer that travels with the team to every away game and tournament without anyone having to think about it. It pulls out, shakes flat (the nylon doesn't hold creases), and is ready to wear in seconds. (For warmth, players reach for the hoodie or sweatpants; the windbreaker is purely a wind-and-light-rain shell.)

The Custom Football Windbreaker is water-RESISTANT, not waterproof — an important distinction. The 100% nylon shell has a water-resistant coating plus a storm flap behind the full-zip front, which means it sheds wind and light-to-moderate rain (drizzle, passing showers, a wet sideline) — water beads and runs off rather than soaking through immediately. It is NOT a sealed-seam waterproof rain shell for standing in a downpour for two hours; under sustained heavy rain it will eventually wet through at the seams. For most Friday-night sideline conditions — wind chill, intermittent rain, damp turf — it does exactly the job it's designed for: blocks the wind (the bigger comfort factor) and keeps light rain off. For full-downpour games, layer it over a hoodie and pair with the sideline cape for the players who'll be exposed longest.

Tackle twill is not used on this product because heavyweight sewn-on patches defeat the lightweight, packable design that's the whole point of the windbreaker.
