Custom Football Training Shorts

Three different products for three different jobs. The TRAINING SHORTS are loose-fit lightweight polyester for OFF-PAD work — conditioning drills, speed and agility sessions, weight room days, summer camp, walk-throughs, and indoor training. Elastic waistband, side pockets, mid-thigh cut. The COMPRESSION SHORTS are form-fitting poly-spandex 4-way stretch designed for UNDER tackle game pants (between skin and thigh-pad pockets) OR as standalone 7v7/flag shorts — no pockets, no loose fabric to bunch under pads. The GAME PANTS are the padded competition uniform piece (jersey + pants set) with integrated pad pockets for thigh, knee, hip, and tailbone protection — worn only for full-contact practice and games. Most varsity programs carry all three: training shorts for the gym/conditioning, compression shorts for under-pad, game pants for competition.

The Custom Football Training Shorts use a standard athletic mid-thigh cut — typically a 7-9 inch inseam depending on size — which clears the knee for full range of motion during agility ladders, sprints, lateral shuffles, and lower-body lifts without bunching at the thigh. The cut is a relaxed athletic fit (not compression-tight, not baggy basketball-length) so players can layer compression shorts underneath if they choose. If your team prefers a shorter or longer inseam for a specific look, we can adjust the cut during production at no extra cost — just specify at design submission. The elastic waistband with internal drawstring locks the fit for active conditioning work.

Yes — the Custom Football Training Shorts have side pockets (one on each hip), reinforced at the seams to hold weight without sagging or tearing. Because these are OFF-PAD training shorts (gym, weight room, conditioning, summer camp) rather than on-field game shorts, pockets are useful and standard: they fit a phone, keys, a gym-locker card, and a mouthguard case during the walk from locker room to field. The pockets sit flat against the hip so they don't catch during lateral movement or lifting. (Note: the under-pad Compression Shorts are intentionally pocket-free since pockets would catch on pad pockets — these training shorts are a different product for a different use.)

There's no minimum order quantity for the Custom Football Training Shorts — order as few as 1 pair for an individual player, or scale up through our volume tiers (1-24, 25-50, 51-100, and 101-500+) for lower per-item pricing as your order grows. Free shipping is included on every order, regardless of size. Mixed sizes are welcome within a single order at no extra cost.

Standard production time for your Custom Football Training Shorts is 3 weeks from the time you approve the final design mockup. This includes design creation, manufacturing, quality inspection, and shipping to your location. The Custom Football Training Shorts are decorated with three methods: sublimation prints unlimited-color graphics directly into the lightweight moisture-wicking polyester (no cracking, peeling, or fading); embroidery delivers crisp dimensional team logos and school crests; and screen printing handles cost-effective single-color graphics across the leg or hip. Tackle twill is not offered on this product per our practice/training-gear policy — heavyweight sewn-on patches add stiffness on a lightweight conditioning short. The leg side is the typical branding surface — used for a team logo, program initials, or player number. Our design team will create a free mockup within 12 hours so you can approve every method-and-element pairing before production begins.
